SBR Pro members win double the weekly SBR point prizes! All weekly prizes are freeplays credited in the SBR Sportsbook (how to use SBR freeplays). Freeplays will be credited Tuesday of each week.

How to Enter:
Step 1: Register a free SBRforum username.
Step 2: Join The Beat The Prick contest.
Step 3: Make your 4 weekly picks after 'The Prick' makes his selections.

How to play Beat The Prick

You will make 4 plays each week. Making less than 4 plays disqualifies you for that weekly prize but those plays will count toward your season-ending score.
By midnight Wednesday of each week, 'The Prick' will make 4 picks on NFL or NCAAF sides or totals. Contestant picks cannot be entered until 'The Prick' has made his picks. The games which he selects will be taken off the board and are not available to contestants.
Everyone including The Prick will choose a 2-unit (double value) best bet each week.
You must Beat The Prick to win. If The Prick scores +3.00 and you score +3.10 you will have beaten The Prick. However, if The Prick goes 4-0 with his football plays, there are no winners.
Only players with a positive score can earn prizes. Placing above The Prick but with negative units for the week will not earn prizes.
You must have made 48 picks to be eligible for the season-ending cash prizes.

Fine Print

You must be an SBR PRO to be eligible for the Grand Prize cash. Your SBR PRO application must be submitted by the week 4 Monday Night Football game's kickoff the evening of October 2nd.
SBR Pro users whose membership expires during the course of the contest will be given a five day grace period to renew their Pro status to be eligible for the Grand Prize-pool. Prior to the courtesy extension of five days, Pro users whose membership is set to expire are given renewal notices by PM 30, 14, 7 days and 24 hour out.
The weekly freeplays carry a standard 1X rollover. Only the freeplay winnings are released into your account. The max underdog odds of any team in one of your freeplays is 10/1.
The system checks Tuesday of each week to confirm whether or not a user is an SBR Pro. If the user is confirmed as Pro after Tuesday prior to making picks, he/she will still show up as non-Pro. This user can be credited the double points manually after notifying SBR. Users who are confirmed as Pro after making picks in a given week will receive normal prizes.
Players who enroll multiple accounts per household will be disqualified.
If you register and don't make picks within 3 weeks, you will have to re-register.
SBR employees and members of their family are prohibited from receiving real-money prizing.
